Keto Shrimp with Spinach [Quick and Easy to Make]

If you love shrimp as much as I do this keto shrimp with spinach recipe is a must! It is low carb, quick and easy to make and super delicious! 

Since starting the Ketogenic lifestyle I’ve found shrimp to be one of my top go to proteins because there are so many ways to use them in recipes and they’re just super healthy and delicious. 


Let’s Get Cooking!

I always try to organize everything I need ahead of time and have it on the counter ready to go and prepped before I start cooking.

To start cooking this keto shrimp recipe we’re going to pour some olive oil in a large skillet, turn the heat up to medium-high and sautée the garlic and scallions. 

Add in the shrimp seasoned with salt, pepper onion powder and garlic powder. Cook the shrimp 2-3 minutes on each side until it’s pink and opaque.

Add the white wine and reduce in half. This should take 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside to a covered bowl or plate.

Add olive oil and thawed and drained spinach to pan. 

Take the shrimp and add to spinach. Cover and simmer.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over shrimp and spinach. Serve immediately.

Keto Shrimp with Spinach


1 pound shrimp deveined and cleaned

1 clove of garlic chopped

1 medium scallion chopped

2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup dry white wine

10 ounces of frozen spinach thawed and drained

Pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste



  1. In a medium skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté garlic and scallions and cook  over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes. 
  2. In a separate bowl combine the shrimp, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper tossing lightly.
  3. Add the shrimp to the hot skillet, quickly sautéing until they are cooked and turn pink and opaque. Add the white wine and reduce by half about 3-4 minutes. 
  4. Remove shrimp to a small plate or bowl and cover to keep warm.
  5. Pour the final 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and add in the spinach, tossing until  warmed through about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Place the shrimp back in the skillet with the spinach. Cover and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
